MASH, a film which was set in a Korean War field hospital, had magic that did not disappear when the credits rolled. It inspired MASH the TV show which became a huge hit (11 seasons!) and MASH the TV show had spin-offs that were well accepted too.
But that’s not all. The 1970 film also inspired Nars to create one of its most memorable nail polish shades aptly called Mash.
Lucky for us who missed the Mash train the first time around, Mash is one of the five nail polish shades Nars will be bringing back for its Vintage Nail Polish 2010 collection.
And on a busy Thursday, Mash came knocking on my door.
Mash is an army green infused with gold.
But on me Mash looks more like a blackened gold than green.
Mash with flash.
Mash in natural light – but the sun was about to set.
I love Mash. And I can’t wait until October 1 so Mash can be reunited with the other vintage Nars beauties King Kong, Zulu, Midnight Express and Full Metal Jacket.
Mark your nail polish calendars, ladies.
Nars Vintage Nail Polish Collection for 2010 will hit the Nars counters in Rustan’s and everywhere else in the world on October 1.
